For survivors of surgery, accidents, burns, pregnancy and self-harm, their skin tells a story they did not choose to write. Paramedical camouflage gives you the skill to soften that story — and to build a practice where every appointment ends with quiet, visible relief.
By the end of three days you will be able to:
01
Read any scar or stretch mark with a trained, clinical eye
02
Match undertone and depth across every skin tone you serve
03
Charge with confidence and build a referral-driven practice
There is just one problem...
Most camouflage training is either too theoretical or too rushed to use on a real client Monday morning.
- Online courses leave you guessing the second a real scar is in front of you.
- Generic PMU training barely touches paramedical color theory or scar physiology.
- Weekend crash courses skip the practice hours you need to feel safe.
- And no one prepares you for the emotional weight of the work itself.
Here is the truth
You can learn this craft without sacrificing rigor or your clients' trust.
TGS Lab Academy is the training I wish I had when I started. Small cohorts, live models, and a curriculum built from years of full-time paramedical practice — so you leave Scottsdale with portfolio-ready work, not just a certificate.
Tell Me More
"I left Scottsdale with the confidence to book my first paramedical clients the week I got home. Tiffany teaches like a mentor, not a salesperson."
Jordan R. — TGS Lab 2024 graduate

Hi, I am Tiffany Stewart.
I am a full-time paramedical tattoo artist based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the founder of TGS Lab Academy. For nearly a decade I have worked alongside surgeons, dermatologists and survivors to soften scars and stretch marks that carry hard stories.
I built this training because I kept meeting talented artists who had paid for big-name courses and still did not feel safe touching a real paramedical client. That gap should not exist. The work matters too much.
What I teach is the system I use in my own studio every week — nothing theoretical, nothing untested.
This is the training I needed when I started.
Early in my career I sat in trainings that ran through stretch marks in an afternoon and called it a paramedical certification. I left those rooms more anxious, not less.
So I rebuilt the curriculum from scratch around what a working paramedical artist actually has to do — read tissue, match undertone, pace a session, hold space for a client who is showing you something vulnerable.
Three days in Scottsdale is the closest thing to apprenticing in my studio that I can offer. That is the promise of TGS Lab.
This is possible for you too.
How enrollment works
01
Reserve your seat
Submit a quick application and either pay in full or place your $500 deposit. We confirm your cohort dates within 48 hours.
02
Complete the online foundations
Move through the self-paced modules on skin science, color theory and consultation before you fly into Scottsdale.
03
Train in studio for three days
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Tiffany and a cap of six peers on live models. Walk out certified, portfolio-ready and supported for 12 months.
Our promise to you
You will leave Scottsdale ready to work — or we will keep training you until you do.
If you complete the three-day intensive and do not feel ready to book your first paramedical client, we will invite you back at no cost on the next available cohort and continue mentoring you through your first ten paid sessions.
This is for you if:
- You are a licensed tattoo, PMU or paramedical artist looking to specialize in scar and stretch mark camouflage.
- You have done one or two short courses and still do not feel safe in front of a real paramedical client.
- You want to work with surgeons, dermatologists and survivors — and to do it ethically.
- You learn best by doing the work on real skin under direct supervision.
This is not for you if:
- You are looking for a weekend certificate to add to a marketing page.
- You are not licensed and not planning to become licensed in your state.
- You are uncomfortable working slowly, ethically and with informed consent.
"My first reconstruction client cried — in a good way."
"Tiffany taught me to slow down and respect the tissue. The result was the cleanest healed work I have ever produced."
— Bri T., paramedical artist
"The cohort feels like family a year later."
"We still trade case photos and color matching questions every week. That alone was worth the tuition."
— Sam D., TGS Lab 2023
